Growing up in eastern South Dakota, angling opportunities were endless. The prairie pothole region of the United States offered me every kind of fresh water fishing imaginable including glacial lakes, streams, rivers and reservoirs. Ever since I can remember, my brother and I spent most weekends fishing with my father on both open water and on the ice. During the summer months, a great family tradition of ours would be floating small rivers and streams in canoes catching a variety of fish. Since then, i've relocated to the Mid-Atlantic region where I share the same passions with my own son. I enjoy fishing both national and local kayak bass fishing tournaments as well as targeting the invasive Northern Snakehead.
