I am the Store Manager at Ship to Shore, a Local Kayak Shop in Lake Charles, LA. I have been Kayak Fishing for the past 10 years, the past 7 years have been out of a Hobie Kayak. I do prefer to go Bass Fishing, but Saltwater is the more predominate water around our area.

I do enjoy fishing Kayak Bass Event, but with work and family it is hard to travel for some of these further events. I do typically hit the Closer LA/TX Hobie Bass Events, for ex: Toledo Bend, Caddo, and Rayburn. One year I hope to make some of the other events/ further locations. I do fish a few local trails/clubs around our area/state for kayak bass fishing tournaments throughout the year. As far as Saltwater, I don't really fish that many Kayak Tournaments but do occasionally. These local events are great for recruiting new customers to our store as well as staying in contact with current customers.

I am also the current President of the Lake Charles Kayak Fishing Club. A local Kayak Club that has monthly meetings, private FB page, Community Page, Group Trips, and other kayak related activities.
