I’m an avid angler based in the scenic region of northwest Washington, where I passionately pursue both freshwater and saltwater fishing. My vessel of choice is the Hobie Pro Angler 14, meticulously rigged with downriggers to effectively troll for fish in deeper waters.
In addition to my on-water adventures, I’m actively involved in the kayaking and fishing community. I serve as an administrator for the “Kayak Fishing Addicts Northwest” group on Facebook, fostering camaraderie and knowledge sharing among fellow enthusiasts. Furthermore, you can find my fishing exploits documented on my YouTube channel under the name “JoshH,” where I regularly post captivating videos of my fishing journeys.
My dedication to angling has also earned me recognition in various fishing derbies and events, including the Salmon Slay Ride and the Lake Stevens Kokanee derby. Notably, I had the distinction of being the sole kayak angler pitted against a formidable fleet of approximately 80 boats in the latter event.
