I have been on the Hobie Fishing Team going on almost a decade now. I found myself interested in kayak fishing as a result of my son’s interest in fishing. Desiring to spend time with him, and not having the money at the time to purchase a bass boat, we got into kayak fishing. Eventually, I discovered Hobie and the rest is history. My passion is introducing new people to the sport I love immensely. I don’t tournament fish very often, but I have introduced hundreds to this sport. When I first started with the HFT, I had never seen a Hobie kayak on Lake Guntersville. Now there’s not a weekend that I don’t see several.
