Known as “Katch,” I predominantly pursue bass but have been known to set my sights on larger species. I consider myself a formidable fish hunter, always on the hunt for the local giants. At present, I serve as the director of two of Michigan’s most prominent kayak fishing trails, and I’m committed to spreading the joys of not only fishing from a Hobie kayak but also the entire sport of kayak fishing. While it’s important to remember that fishing doesn’t always guarantee catching, each expedition offers valuable lessons and an authentic adventure that keeps us coming back for more.
