Tom was born and raised in Eastern Michigan. He grew up tournament fishing the Detroit River and Lake Erie. Tom is a collegiate Rower and Engineer Graduate. He is also a Midwest Regional Sales Manager for a process analyzer sample system company. When not fishing, he enjoys spending time with his daughter – Harlyn, Son – Andy and Wife – Ashley.

Over the years, Tom has competed in local, regional, national and the Hobie World Championship. Tom is the prior founder of the Michigan Kayak Trail and has been a Hobie Fishing Team member since 2015.

Tom played a vital role in the growth of the competitive kayak fishing scene in Michigan and is the original founder of the Michigan Kayak Trail. He has supported multiple dealerships with driving sales across the board.
