The Hobie Saltwater Series (HSWS) features regional kayak fishing tournaments hosted by local state clubs, culminating in the prestigious end-of-year Tournament of Champions, powered by Lowrance.
On the final day of practice (pre-fish), anglers faced chilly conditions ahead of tonight’s captain’s meeting, scheduled for 6:00 PM at the Southern Breeze Lodge. Nestled in Golden Meadow, LA, the lodge provides a stunning backdrop for the Lowrance Championship.
Event Schedule: Saturday, December 7
- 6:00 AM – Shotgun launch and lines in (fishing begins)
- 1:00 PM – TourneyX leaderboard goes offline
- 2:00 PM – Fishing ends
- 2:30 PM – Fish submissions on TourneyX close
- 3:00 PM – Anglers must check in at the launch site
- 3:30 PM – Polygraphs for projected winners
- 4:30 PM – Awards ceremony and dinner
- 5:00 PM and onwards – Hangout
