Wilson wins Hobie College Series and finishes top five at Hobie Bass Open Series

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – Campbellsville Kayak Bass Fishing hit the water twice recently at the Hobie College Series and the Hobie Bass Open Series.

During the Hobie College Series tournament, Logan Wilson took the top prize on the day. Wilson brought in a full five fish bag totaling 86.00 inches. His biggest fish of the day came on his first fish totaling 18.50 inches. Cody Cissell placed fifth overall in the tournament, also bringing in a full five-fish bag. His total was 70.50 inches, with his big fish coming in at 17.50 inches. Hunter McDowell rounded out the scoring for Campbellsville. McDowell came in sixth overall with four fish at 61.25 inches and his biggest fish measuring 18.25 inches. 

At the Hobie Bass Open Series, Wilson led the way once again, placing himself inside the top five anglers in the tournament. During day one, Wilson had another five-fish bag totaling 86.00 inches. He had two fish bigger than 18.00 inches. Day two proved to be more challenging for Wilson. He still had a full bag but was only able to measure out at 74.50. Wilson finished with a two-day total of 160.50 inches. 

Cissell started out his tournament in the middle of the standings. He had a five-fish bag of 70.50 inches, and his first fish was his big fish at 17.25 inches. He made a big jump on day two with a five-fish bag full at 79.25 inches. His first three fish were no less than 16.25 inches. 

McDowell finished in 69th after his two days in the Hobie Bass Open Series. He finished with his two-day total at 87.50 inches. His biggest fish came on day one with a measurement of 18.25 inches.
