48 of the best kayak anglers in the world will be heading to Amal in Sweden to contest the 9th Hobie Fishing World Championship. It will be the third appearance of the championship on the European continent as we return to the fan favourite Amal venue. All the action will take place on Lake Vanern with anglers targeting pike and perch over the three days of the world championship competition.

What is supplied – Provisional

The information on the event kayak model has yet to be released however each competitor will fish from an identically rigged Hobie kayak. The boats will be rigged with a Lowrance HOOK REVEAL 7 TRIPLESHOT fish finder which will allow an angler to navigate their surroundings, locate fish, find structure, determine water temperature, and much more.
