Hello! I’m Dennis Campbell from “The First State”. I grew up spending my summers and free time chasing largemouth bass in any body of water that I could ride my bike to. At 12-years-old, I caught my personal best largemouth bass from a farm pond. I’ve come close to beating this bass several times in my lifetime, but it still remains my personal best at 8lb 11oz. Fishing from a kayak had always interested me, so in 2017 I bought a used kayak to give it a try. I immediately became hooked and by the end of 2017 I competed in my first local kayak tournament. To date I have competed in over 135 tournaments, both nationally and locally. In 2020 I purchased my 2020 Hobie Pro Angler 14 360. This kayak and its maneuverability helped me land the AOY titles in two local clubs that year and a 2nd place finish at a national event in early 2021. I have over 85 top ten tournament finishes, and I attribute most of my success to the performance of my Hobie kayak.
