I grew up on the Kona Coast of Hawaii and fished every chance I could. I moved to California where I easily transitioned into kayak fishing, I have only in the past few years started fishing freshwater, I compete in the west coast saltwater and freshwater bass tournament trails and enjoy the comradery and have made many long-lasting friendships doing so. I kayak fish out of a Hobie 360, Hobie Outback, Hobie Compass and also have a Hobie Compass tandem for the family. I truly enjoy the Hobie mirage drive kayaks and think it’s one of the best platforms for kayak fishing and family enjoyment.
