My name is John Ladd, and I am 58 years old.
I have been in and around fishing for my entire life. I was a professional bass angler from the early 1990’s- 2001.
After 911, I left professional fishing and
began a career in federal law enforcement that lasted over 19 years where I was both a uniformed officer as well as worked in executive protection for the Federal Reserve System.
I started kayaking fishing tournaments in 2014, and have enjoyed great success at both the local and regional levels.
I also enjoy guiding, fishing instruction, giving kayak demos, and getting new people into the sport of kayak fishing.
This year I am starting a small business making handmade lures from balsa wood.
