My name is Leo Pegels (1958), I live in Steenbergen in the south of the Netherlands near large rivers and the coast. As a child I started shore fishing in small freshwater lakes in the Netherlands. As I grew up, I became interested in boat fishing targeting predator fish like Pikes and Perches. I purchased my first Hobie Kayak 8 years ago and since that time I am hooked to kayak fishing both fresh- and saltwater the whole year through. My favorite target fish nowadays are Zanders and Seabass. My current Hobie Outback is excellent for this type of fishing.
