My upbringing revolved around a family deeply passionate about fishing, and I caught the fishing bug at a very young age. Initially, I focused on shoreline fishing until around 2008 when I discovered the world of kayak fishing. Since that moment, I’ve been kayak fishing almost every weekend. What I cherish most is the feeling of being out on the water and the convenience that Hobie’s mirage drive system offers, allowing me to navigate hands-free.

While Maui may not have as many fishing tournaments, I always make it a point to participate and compete whenever there’s an opportunity.
