From August 29 till September 1 the 10 Hobie Fishing European Championship powered by Rapala will take place in the Netherlands! HFE 10 will return to the place where it all started. Fishing the Haringvliet and the Hollands Diep in the Netherlands. In addition to these waterways, we also added the Volkerak. That’s three of the finest Dutch fisheries packed into one event.
In September 2014 the first Hobie Fishing European Championship took place at ‘de Banaan’ in Ooltgensplaat, NL. From there, anglers went out fishing on the Hollands Diep and the Haringvliet. Where else to return to for the 10 edition, 10 years later. This year we added a new body of water that has been on the wish list quite some years now. The Volkerak will be the tournament arena for one day this event. The preliminary itinerary looks as follow:
- Thursday – August 29 – Optional pre fish day
- Friday – August 30 – Optional pre fish day
- Saturday – August 31 – Competition day 1 – Haringvliet & Hollands Diep
- Sunday – September 1 – Competition day 2 – Volkerak
The first competition day will be fished on the Haringvliet and Hollands Diep where we chance location to the Volkerak for competition day 2. To allow all of you time on both waters for scouting and pre fishing, we added an extra pre fish day.
